Residence options
Approved residential real estate
Purchase of a property with a minimum value of USD 375,000 in an approved scheme. The residence permit is linked to keeping the property.
Investor permit
Minimum contribution of USD 50,000 to a company established in Mauritius carrying out an eligible activity. Permit valid for 10 years.
Retired permit
For people aged 50 and over: monthly transfer of USD 2,000 (i.e. USD 24,000 per year) or acquisition of a life right in an approved senior residence.
Self-employed permit
Minimum investment of USD 50,000 in a professional activity, together with letters of intent from three potential clients.
Professional permit
Employment contract in Mauritius with a minimum monthly salary of around MUR 50,000 (approximately USD 1,100).
